Deji Adedayo is the Vice Chairman of AfroNordic Youth Association Finland Ry, is a passionate football professional, youth mentor, and community leader dedicated to the growth and development of grassroots football both in Finland and internationally. Having played football both at home and abroad during his active career, he gained valuable experience, discipline, and a deep understanding of the game across different cultures and competitive environments. These experiences shaped his vision of using football not only as a sport, but also as a powerful tool for youth empowerment, leadership, and social development.

Currently based in Finland, Adedayo works as a football coach, sports mentor, and player scout, combining practical experience with academic knowledge through his degree in Sports Management and Coaching. His coaching philosophy focuses on player development, discipline, teamwork, confidence building, and creating pathways for young talents to grow both on and off the pitch.

Adedayo is also actively involved in player scouting for clubs, where he identifies promising talents and helps connect skilled grassroots players with opportunities to advance their football careers. His eye for talent, understanding of player development, and strong passion for football have enabled him to support many young athletes in finding the right pathways both locally and internationally.

Over the years, Adedayo has organized and hosted football events, tournaments, and developmental programs aimed at identifying and supporting grassroots talents. He remains deeply committed to helping young players at home and abroad discover their potential by providing mentorship, exposure, career guidance, and development opportunities.

Beyond player development, Adedayo is equally passionate about supporting grassroots coaches back home by promoting knowledge sharing, leadership development, and modern coaching practices that can positively impact local football structures. Through his dedication to sports, youth empowerment, and community engagement, he continues to inspire and create opportunities for the next generation of athletes, coaches, and leaders.
